We are a community of followers of Jesus Christ, committed to live by faith, to be known by love, and to be a voice of hope. The name of our community comes from the diversity of our members and from the symbolism of a broken and fragmented humanity which can become a work of beauty under the artful hands of God. We welcome people from all walks of life, regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey. Come to Mosaic, and discover how all the pieces can fit together!

Mosaic's address is 819 Mississippi Avenue, Chattanooga,TN - we are located across the street from Coolidge Park about one mile up Tremont Street to where it meets Mississippi Avenue. Our location for worship is unique and makes good use of the church's resources. We worship in a beautiful historic church building shared by three communities - North Side Baptist, North Shore Presbyterian, & us - Mosaic!

Why such an odd time? Well for one thing the Baptist & Presbyterian Churches we share the building with worship in the morning and there is no room for us. Secondly and most important - we wanted to worship at a much different time so we might be a good fit for people who aren't morning people, others who just enjoy sleeping in on the weekends or for others whose job's schedule doesn't allow them to worship at a traditional morning time. We also have many local craftsmen/artists who sale their goods at the Chattanooga Market and this time works best for that part of our community.

Mosaic is not any particular denomination.
We've been called interdenominational cause we welcome and have a variety of people from all very different faith backgrounds.
We choose to say we are trans denominational - meaning we simply believe being a follower of Jesus Christ is our highest value and that transcends any denominational theology or methodology.

Expect the unexpected! Our worship services are very diverse so it makes it difficult to really describe one. While Mosaic is known for its creativity and futuristic ways, we also embrace many traditional and ancient practices of the church. We like to think of Mosaic as God's R&D department - research & development. One thing we strive for is to be like Jesus - predictably unpredictable!
